Backpackers Plus is Oban’s newest hostel. We offer all the freedom and flexibility of your favourite hostel accommodation but with affordable, cosy, private rooms instead of dorms.

Forget the frills and restrictions of a formal B&B or budget hotel: our relaxed, central hostel with its international atmosphere is much more fun.

We’ve comfortable rooms for two people sharing – ideal for couples – plus rooms for small groups of three or four backpackers travelling together. All rooms have a wash hand basin, television and all bedding and a towel are included.

New for 2010, your room rate includes breakfast. Help yourself to our light breakfast buffet any time you feel like getting up – there's cereals, bread for toast, scones, juice and hot drinks.

Backpackers Plus hostel is right in the centre of Oban – close to the seafront esplanade and under a ten minute walk from the bus/train station and ferry terminal. You’ll have your own room key and use of a well equipped kitchen, so you are free to come and go as you please and make the most of exploring Oban and the surrounding area.
