Friendly atmosphere

Our friendly, knowledgeable staff will happily help you plan your visit to Oban. If you’re looking for some company, feel free to go to Backpackers Plus’ big sister – Oban Backpackers (it’s just around the corner). Join the fun and meet other backpackers in Backpackers’ large lounge with its relaxed, international atmosphere. Chat the night away, challenge new friends to a game of pool or simply read a book by the open fire.

Cooking facilities

There’s a fully equipped kitchen for you to prepare your own food. Whether you simply want to make a sandwich or cook a hot meal you are free to make use of the cooker, microwave, fridge, pots/crockery and plenty of hot water for the washing up afterwards. Relax in the communal dining area and help yourself to free tea and coffee.

Continental breakfast buffet

For 2010, your room rate includes breakfast. Help yourself to our light buffet breakfast any time you feel like getting up. There's cereal, toast, scones, fruit juice and hot drinks.

Backpackers Plus has free broadband/Wifi and use of a luggage store and a laundry in neighbouring Oban Backpackers hostel.

Parking and bike storage

There is free car parking nearby. Motorbikes can be parked directly outside nearby Oban Backpackers hostel and we have secure storage for bicycles.
