Although there aren't as many events and shows on during the winter months, there is still plenty to do; think of it as 'a change is as good as a rest'. By day, get some fresh air and take in the sea views walking around Oban. Treat yourselves to a cafe latte or hot chocolate at one of the town's cafes. Enjoy a superb value, leisurely lunch in one of the restaurants around the harbour. Take in Oban's pub nightlife - many have live music, ceilidh or karioke at the weekends.
